Starting Again

Gideon & I vis­ited the new gar­den plot today to check on the over-wintered plants, level the soil, and mark out where the beds will be placed. We also pur­chased the lum­ber to make new raised beds, but haven’t got­ten much farther.

Goodbye to the Old Garden Plot

While it didn’t rain today, the ground was com­pletely sod­den and avoid­ing mud was dif­fi­cult. My resolve to pur­chase appro­pri­ate footwear deep­ened… rub­ber boots… must buy rub­ber boots. Here is a photo of the remains of our 2008 plot:
